9/3: Patching Hardwood Floors and Paint Prepping with Rob Brent of Historic Home Recyclers. Rob will show us how to pull up problem boards, both hardwood and laminate, and replace them, as well as how to prime and paint various surfaces.
9/10: Mending Clothes with Rebekah Apotre of 504 Stitches. ***We have eight sewing machines available for this class, so please RSVP through Facebook or email: alove@thegreenproject.org Bring any clothes that need new life along with needles and thread.
9/17: Rainwater Catchment with Demetria Christo of EcoUrban, LLC. Demetria will talk about different ways to harvest rainwater and demonstrate how to turn a 55-gallon drum barrel into a reservoir.
9/24: Halloween Mask-Making with Sarah Smith. COME CELEBRATE HallowGREEN with us at our mini Green Fair/ Paint and E-Waste Drive at Whole Foods Veterans in Metarie! Come learn how to use recycled materials to make and decorate your own Halloween mask.
