The Green Project is pleased to announce a great workshop led by our friends at A Studio in the Woods.
On Saturday, June 27, 2009, David Baker, the Environmental Curator with A Studio in the Woods, will be conducting a tour and lecture called the Ecology of a Bottomland Hardwood Forest. The workshop is from 10:00am - 1:00pm and will include discussion on invasive species and how they affect bottomland forests, with special focus on how to eradicate Chinese Privet & Chinese Tallow.
The workshop will be held at A Studio in the Woods at 13401 Patterson Road in Lower Coast Algiers in New Orleans. The fee is $50, which includes lunch and a Shield Fern.
